Join us in the beautiful Sensory garden for this tree themed Story Time with Ali, for ages 5 – 8. (bring an adult and a blanket to sit on!)
What is a tree? We will explore what makes a plant a tree and take part in activities to get to know trees better. These will include bark rubbings, sensory tree exploration, ring counting to age a tree and using leaves to identify the trees in the garden.
Our story will be The Last Tree by Emily Haworth-Booth, which explores the need to take care of our trees, woodland and forests.
Come and join us to celebrate trees and enjoy nature on our doorstep.
This activity is free, but tickets are limited, so please book in advance.
